Description
DALDA TFA is a potent, μ-opioid receptor agonist exhibiting high selectivity and an affinity constant (K i) of 1.69 nM. It demonstrates antinociceptive properties and influences respiratory functions [1].
In vitro
DALDA possesses a net positive charge of 3+ at physiological pH, making it hydrophilic and increasing its polarity relative to morphine [1].
In vivo
DALDA administered intrathecally at doses ranging from 0 to 7 nmol/rat exhibits both antinociceptive and respiratory effects in rats [1]. When delivered intracerebroventricularly at 0.1 and 1.0 μg/side, DALDA induces a biphasic response characterized by initial suppression, then pronounced inhibition, and subsequent activation of horizontal movement, rearing, and stereotypy behaviors in rats [2].
