Description | Linderone, a compound isolated from Lindera erythrocarpa, has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity and can be used to study neuroinflammation. |
In vitro | METHODS: LPS-induced BV2 cells were treated with different concentrations of Linderone (10, 20, 30 μM) to measure nitrite production. RESULTS: 40 μM Linderone affected the production of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). Linderone also inhibited the production of IL-6 and TNF-α. Linderone significantly reduced the levels of inflammatory factors in LPS-induced BV2 cells. [1] |
