Description
SPOP-IN-6b is an effective inhibitor of speckle-type POZ protein (SPOP) with an IC50 of 3.58 μM and can be used in stuides about the treatment of renal cancer.
In vitro
SPOP-IN-6b (0.1-3.0 μM) inhibits the activity of SPOP, and then increases the content of tumor suppressor substrate proteins PTEN and DUSP7. SPOP-IN-6b. The IC50s are 2-10.2 μM for A498, Caki-2, Ketr-3, 769-P, 0S-RC-2 and 786-0 cells[1].
In vivo
In nude mice, SPOP-IN-6b (40-80 mg/kg; i.p.) slows down the tumour growth[1].
