In vitro | In the presence of Grossamide, the production of inflammatory molecules mediated by LPS is downregulated[1]. Grossamide, when applied at concentrations ranging from 0 to 20 μM for 1 hour, demonstrates a dose-dependent inhibition of mRNA levels of TNF-α and IL-6. Additionally, Grossamide inhibits LPS-induced activation of NF-κB, as well as the expression of LPS-induced TLR4 and MyD88, all without inducing cytotoxicity[1]. |
