Description
MMP-3 Inhibitor acetate is a cell-permeable and potent inhibitor of human MMP-3.
In vitro
MMP3 inhibitor 1 (Compound 27) inhibits MMP-1, MMP-2, MMP-9, and MMP-14 with IC50s of 14000, 529, 2420, and 20100 nM, respectively[1].
In vivo
MMP-3 Inhibitor is a cell-permeable p-methoxysulfonamido D-leucine containing hydroxamate compound that acts as a potent inhibitor of human MMP-3 (stromelysin; Ki = 23 nM) and murine macrophage metalloelastase (MME/MMP-12; IC50 = 13 nM). Binds to the MMP active site Zn2+ [2] [3].
