P8RI acetate is a biomimetic peptide of CD31 and an agonist of CDP8RI acetate shows an immunosuppressive effect through the restoration of the CD31 inhibitory pathway.

P8RI acetate maintains bioactivity and confers resistance toward plasma proteases[2].
In vivo
In Apo E -/- mice (male, 28-week-old) implanted with Ang II-releasing pumps (a model of experimental acute aortic dissection and intramural hematoma (ADIM)), P8RI acetate (2.5 mg/kg; s.c.) prevents aneurysmal transformation by promoting the resolution of intramural hematoma and the production of collagen in dissected aortas[3].
