In vitro | Rebeccamycin produced by the actinomycete Saccharotrix aerocolonigenes. It has activity against several human tumor cell lines, including lung adenocarcinoma, colon carcinoma, and nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Rebeccamycin displays antibacterial activity against several Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus faecalis [1][3]. |
