GSTO-IN-2 is a glutathione S-transferase inhibitor with IC50 values of 1.4 μM for GSTP1-1, 16.3 μM for GSTM1, and 3.6 μM for GSTA2.

In vitro
When the concentration of GSTO-IN-2 was 50μM, the inhibition rate of cisplatin on MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cell viability reached 640 % and 270 %, respectively. GSTO-IN-2 ( 25 and 50 μM ) enhanced the inhibitory effect of thiotepa on the activity of MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231, with inhibition rates of 170-320 % and 180-270 %, respectively [1].
