Description
SJFα (SJF alpha) is a PROTAC formed by an E3 ubiquitin ligase-conjugated protein hydrolysis regulator that degrades p38α and p38δ and can be used in cancer research.
Targets&IC50
p38δ:299 nM (DC50), p38δ: 18% (Dmax), p38α:7.16 nM (DC50), p38α:97.4% (Dmax)
In vitro
SJFα PROTAC (13-atom linker, amide attachment) selectively degrades p38α in MDA-MB-231 cells. SJFα degrades p38α with a DC50 = 7.16 nM and Dmax = 97.4%, but is far less effective at degrading p38δ (DC50 = 299 nM, Dmax = 18%) and does not degrade the other p38 isoforms (β and γ). [1]
