CBD3063 is a CRMP2-based peptidomimetic small molecule with analgesic and neuroprotective effects, which can allosterically regulate Cav 2.2 and can be used to study neurological diseases.
In vivo
The MIA model of arthritis was induced by injecting monosodium iodoacetate into the left knee joint of rats. Two weeks later, compared the anti-hyperalgesic efficacy of CBD3063 (10 mg/kg, i.p.) and gabapentin (30 mg/kg, i.p.) over a 6-hour period post-injection. CBD3063 decreases mechanical and cold allodynia in rats with MIA-induced pain-like behaviors. [1]
