Description
Bikinin (Abrasin), a potent inhibitor of plant GSK-3/Shaggy-like kinase, activates BR signaling downstream of the BR receptor.
In vitro
Bikinin directly inhibited BIN2 in Arabidopsis GSK-3s and activated oleuropein steroid-dependent gene expression.Bikinin also inhibited RD26 expression and, in the case of RD26pro:GUS, NaCl (150 mM)-induced GUS activity.
In vivo
