Description
LY377604 is a human β3-adrenergic receptor agonist (EC50: 2.4 nM) and β1/2-adrenergic receptor antagonist for the study of obesity.
In vitro
LY377604 is a β1- and β2-adrenergic receptor antagonist as well as a β3-adrenergic receptor agonist, causing a maximal increase in cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) levels with an EC50 of 2.4 nM[1].
In vivo
LY377604 administered orally at 10mg/kg increases diet-induced obesity in male Long-Evans rats by enhancing calorie expenditure[1].
