In vitro
N-decanoyl-L-Homoserine lactone (0-75 µM) causes reduced primary root growth and promotes lateral root formation in Arabidopsis.[1]
N-decanoyl-L-Homoserine lactone (0-30µM) can increase the cytosolic Ca2+ concentration in wild-type seedlings.[1]
