In vivo
RS 8359 demonstrates minimal impact on blood pressure when co-administered with tyramine, effectively mitigating the 'cheese' effect associated with traditional monoamine oxidase inhibitors, and exhibits low affinity for central nervous system receptors and minimal anticholinergic effects[1].
