Description | Meseclazone has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic activity. Meseclazone shows inhibitory potency of secondary phase ADP aggregation. |
In vivo | Intravenous administration of Meseclazone, along with other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), has been found to cause a dose-dependent reduction in bronchoconstriction. This leads to a sequence of efficacy in decreasing order as follows: isoproterenol ≈ indomethacin > fenoprofen > tolmetin > aspirin > naproxen ≈ ibuprofen > phenylbutazone > diflunisal > Meseclazone > 5-CSA. Additionally, Meseclazone demonstrates the ability to inhibit collagen-induced platelet aggregation 1 and 4 hours post oral administration[1][2]. |
