Description | RS-67333 is a selective and efficient partial agonist of the 5-HT4 receptor (5-HT4R) with neuroprotective effects, useful in preventing amyloid deposition and behavioral deficits in the 5XFAD mouse model of Alzheimer's disease. |
Targets&IC50 | 5-HT4 receptor:8.7 (pKi) |
In vitro | RS-67333 exhibits affinity for the 5-HT4 binding site in the guinea pig striatum (pKi = 8.7, respectively); and lower affinity (< 6.0) for several other receptors, including 5-HT1A, 5-HT1D, 5-HT2A, 5-HT2C, dopamine D1, D2, and muscarinic M1-M3 receptors. However, RS-67333 exhibits affinity for both the sigma 1 (pKi = 8.9) and sigma 2 (pKi = 8.0) binding sites.[1] |
