Description
SC-10 is a direct activator of PKC with potential antiproliferative activity, useful in leukemia research.
In vitro
SC-10 (10.001-100μM) treatment of U937 and HL-60 cells failed to induce changes in PKC content in membrane and cytoplasmic fractions, respectively; SC-10 showed a protective effect in HL-60 cells treated with Ara-C; SC-10 showed a modest biological effect on leukemic blasts and could not enhance the apoptotic response of these cells to cytotoxic drugs.[1]
