Seviteronel (VT-464) selectively inhibits CYP17 17,20-lyase to suppress androgen production without causing mineralocorticoid excess or cortisol depletion[2].
In vivo
Seviteronel(100 mg/kg bid; oral administration for 25 days) reduced tumor volume in castrated male mice with xenografts[2].
