In vitro
DS16570511 effectively inhibits serum-induced mitochondrial Ca2+ (calcium) influx in HEK293A cells in a dose-dependent manner, exhibiting an IC50 value of 7 μM. Additionally, it suppresses calcium uptake in isolated mitochondria sourced from human cells, rat, and pig hearts.
