In nude mice implanted with HT-29 human colon tumors, RO3280 (40 mg/kg) was effective in inhibiting tumor cell proliferation.
In vivo
RO3280 exhibits antitumor activity across a variety of tumor cell lines, effectively inhibiting cancer cell proliferation. Specifically, it demonstrates potency against lung cancer cell line H82 (IC50=5 nM), colorectal cancer cell HT-29 (IC50=10 nM), breast cancer cell MDA-MB-468 (IC50=19 nM), prostate cancer cell PC3 (IC50=12 nM), and skin cancer cell A375 (IC50=70 nM).
