Description
BMS-986242 is an orally active, potent, and selective indoleamine-2,3-dioxygenase 1 (IDO1) inhibitor, suitable for cancer research.
In vitro
BMS-986242 demonstrates a higher propensity for oxidative metabolism and reduced susceptibility to glucuronidation. It exhibits an IC50 greater than 25 μM for all targets except for nAChR a1 (IC50=12.3 μM) and nAChR a7 (IC50 greater than 6 μM with approximately 20% maximum inhibition).
In vivo
BMS-986242 (3~30 mg/kg; p.o.; 0~24 hours) demonstrates dose-proportional exposure and significantly reduces tumor kynurenine concentration at all three doses.
