In vitro
L-694,247 displayed very high affinity (pIC50 = 10.0) for the 5-HTID site labelled with [125I]-GTI and was some 65-fold more potent in this regard than sumatriptan. It displayed somewhat lower affinity for the 5-HTIB binding site (pIC50 = 9.1) compared with the corresponding pIC50 value of 6.0 obtained with sumatriptan. [3]
