In vitro
In BALB/c mice, Oxiracetam (50 mg/kg i.p.) has been shown to improve avoidance acquisition. Similarly, in rats, pretreatment with Oxiracetam (30 mg/kg) has demonstrated efficacy in ameliorating cognitive deficits induced by trimethyltin.
