Bromfenac sodium hydrate
T2403120638-55-3
Bromfenac sodium hydrate (Bromfenac monosodium salt sesquihydrate) is the sodium salt form of bromfenac, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities. Upon ophthalmic administration, bromfenac binds to and inhibits the activity of cyclooxygenase II (COX II), an enzyme which converts arachidonic acid to cyclic endoperoxides, precursors of prostaglandins (PG). By inhibiting PG formation, bromfenac is able to inhibit PG-induced inflammation, thereby preventing vasodilation, leukocytosis, disruption of the blood-aqueous humor barrier, an increase in vascular permeability and an increase in intraocular pressure (IOP).

Abicipar pegol
T768951327278-94-3
Abicipar pegol (AGN-150998, MP0112), an anti-VEGF DARPin molecule, represents a novel class of small ankyrin repeat domain-containing proteins designed for high specificity and affinity targeting. This compound is adept at inhibiting angiogenesis and vascular permeability. It has seen applicative use in ocular inflammation-related disease studies through intravitreal injections, notably decreasing mean retinal thickness and leakage area [1] [2].

Ketorolac hemicalcium
T60496167105-81-9
Ketorolac (RS37619) hemicalcium is a nonselective COX inhibitor with IC50s of 20 nM and 120 nM for COX-1 and COX-2, respectively. Ketorolac hemicalcium is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is used as 0.5% ophthalmic solution for the research of allergic conjunctivitis, cystoid macular edema, intraoperative miosis, and postoperative ocular inflammation and pain. Ketorolac hemicalcium is also a DDX3 inhibitor that can be used in cancer research [1] [4].

IRBP (1-20) (human, rat) TFA
T83681
Interphotoreceptor retinoid-binding protein (1-20) (IRBP1-20), a dodecapeptide fragment of retinoid-binding protein 3, plays a crucial role in pigment regeneration by facilitating the transport of retinol and retinal between photoreceptor cells and the retinal pigment epithelium. It has been utilized to provoke autoimmune uveoretinitis in C57BL/6 mice, possessing the H-2b haplotype. Furthermore, IRBP1-20 at a concentration of 3 µM enhances the secretion of IL-4, IL-5, and IL-6 from primary mouse spleen lymphocytes. Immunization and subsequent rechallenge with IRBP1-20 lead to increased ear swelling, inflammation of ocular blood vessels, infiltration by immune cells, damage to the photoreceptor layer, and retinal detachment in IFN-γ-deficient mice.
