Coriariaceae

Coriariaceae comprise only Coriaria, a genus of shrubs. The root of Coriaria nepalensis Wall. (Coriariaceae) is Chinese herbal medicine and has been used to treat numbness, toothache due to wind and heat, phlegm-retention syndrome, traumatic injury, and acute conjunctivitis. The coriariaceae family contains sesquiterpenoids, coumarins, phenols, and other natural chemical components.
