Propoxur
T0976114-26-1
Propoxur (Propoxure) is an insecticide used to control cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes, and lawn and turf insects. Acute (short-term) exposure of humans to propoxur by ingestion leads to cholinesterase inhibition of red blood cells, with mild cholinergic symptoms including blurred vision, nausea, vomiting, sweating, and tachycardia; however, the effects are transient. Chronic (long-term) inhalation exposure has resulted in depressed cholinesterase levels, headaches, vomiting, and nausea in humans. Chronic ingestion studies in animals have reported depressed cholinesterase levels, depressed body weight, effects to the liver and bladder, and a slight increase in neuropathy. No information is available on the reproductive, developmental, or carcinogenic effects of propoxur in humans. Mixed results are available from cancer studies of propoxur in animals. EPA has not classified propoxur for carcinogenicity.

Ulipristal acetate
T2527126784-99-4
Ulipristal acetate (CDB-2914) is an orally bioavailable, acetate salt of ulipristal, a selective progesterone receptor modulator with anti-progesterone activity. Ulipristal binds to the progesterone receptor (PR), thereby inhibiting PR-mediated gene expression, and interfering with progesterone activity in the reproductive system. As a result, this agent may suppress the growth of uterine leiomyomatosis. Furthermore, by inhibiting or delaying ovulation and effecting endometrial tissue, ulipristal can be used as an emergency contraception.

Proguanil hydrochloride
T4382637-32-1
Proguanil hydrochloride (Chloroquanil) is a biguanide compound which metabolizes in the body to form cycloguanil, an anti-malaria agent.Upon hydrolysis, Proguanil hydrochloride is converted to its active cyclic triazine metabolite, cycloguanil, by a cytochrome P450 dependent reaction. Cycloguanil selectively inhibits the bifunctional dihydrofolate reductase-thymidylate synthase of plasmodium parasite, thereby disrupting deoxythymidylate synthesis and ultimately blocking DNA and protein synthesis in the parasite.

    (+)-Cevimeline hydrochloride hemihydrate
    T13460
(+)-Cevimeline hydrochloride hemihydrate ((+)-SNI-2011), a potent muscarinic receptor agonist, stands as a promising therapeutic candidate for treating xerostomia in Sjogren's syndrome. This compound has demonstrated a broad pharmacological profile across various systems including gastrointestinal, urinary, and reproductive, in animal models such as mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and dogs. Its metabolism was assessed in vitro using rat and dog liver microsomes, revealing that (+)-SNI-2011 is rapidly absorbed with peak plasma concentrations (Cmax) reached within one hour post-oral administration, followed by a decline with a half-life (t1/2) ranging from 0.4 to 1.1 hours. Bioavailability was recorded at 50% in rats and 30% in dogs. Metabolic analysis indicated species-specific differences, with rats producing both S- and N-oxidized metabolites and dogs only producing N-oxidized metabolites. Additionally, sex-based differences in pharmacokinetics were observed in rats but not in dogs. The in vitro study highlighted the involvement of cytochrome P450 (CYP) and flavin-containing monooxygenase (FMO) in the sulfoxidation and N-oxidation of SNI-2011, respectively, with CYP2D and CYP3A being primarily responsible for sulfoxidation in rat liver microsomes.
